Lisa Salvo

Lisa Salvo is a songwriter and performing artist based in Melbourne/Naarm. She released dream folk album I Could Have Been a Castle in 2014, and was shortlisted for the APRA/AMCOS Vanda and Young International Songwriting Competition the same year. Lisa now fronts experimental pop band On Diamond, whose 2019 self-titled debut album was nominated for The Australian Music Prize, Best Album in the Music Victoria Awards, and received Album of the Week on Triple R, 4ZZZ and PBS. Lisa has performed frequently with award winning theatre company Four Larks - in Los Angeles for The Getty Villa’s Theatre Lab (Orpheus 2014; Hymns 2017), and in Melbourne on The Temptation of St Antony (2012), The Plague Dances (2012) and Undine (2011). Locally Lisa has worked with Grand Salvo, Laura Jean, Evelyn Ida Morris, Ajak Kwai, Joe Talia and Peter Knight.
