Yvette Cornelia Holzwarth

Yvette is a multifaceted musician originally from the SF Bay Area, currently based in Los Angeles. In Four Larks’ latest film version of Hymns, she performed both in front of the camera as well as behind the scenes – contributing string arrangements and recording violin, viola, and vocal parts. She has also performed with Four Larks in Frankenstein at The Wallis and katabasis at the Getty Villa. As a violinist, Yvette records and performs for numerous artists (Kamasi Washington, Van Dyke Parks, Gaby Moreno) and in film/TV scores. Other notable artistic collaborations include her critically acclaimed duo with guitarist Miroslav Tadić, cross-cultural ensemble Bridge to Everywhere, and her original chamber pop songwriting project under the moniker Yvette Cornelia. She holds an MFA from CalArts' Performer-Composer Program.
