James Vitz-Wong
James Vitz-Wong (they/them) is a multidisciplinary performer and engineer from Seattle, living in LA. They have studied classical music, electronic composition, dance improv, studio recording, and immersive theater at Oberlin Conservatory (co'15) and California Institute of the Arts (co'18). James has worked with Four Larks since 2018, playing bass, dancing, recording, and providing archival audio editing for Katabasis (2019) and Frankenstein (2020). They frequently flirt with puzzle design, virtual reality, and audience interactivity, and work as a game master at Arcane Escape Rooms. Upcoming projects include mixing Nikola Whallon's EP of balkan chiptunes, as well as scoring What Will I Become, a documentary about trans masculinities. James would like to share with everyone the sensation of closing one's eyes and running at full speed across an open field.
