Izela, meaning “good luck” in ancient Macedonian, is an ensemble that has been forged from circumstance, fortune, and magnetism. Forces surrounding us throughout our lives shape and direct our paths through the cosmos and inevitably we find our shared orbits around one another. Settling into patterns, and energy transfers that last forever and echo through time and space as waves of sound. So it has been throughout the history of human culture and so it shall continue in our quest to create this new music.
