Function Ensemble

Function Ensemble is the shape-shifting group led by songwriter and composer Matthew Liam Nicholson – originating in Australia in the late nineties out of the ashes of numerous bands – Function Ensemble has been sporadically active, having three albums released 2003-2011 and touring fairly extensively throughout USA & Europe during that period. Nicholson, having recently moved to Los Angeles, is cranking up the cogs again with new material for a four piece consisting of vocals, cello, guitars, bass and percussion.
