Soprano Roksana Zeinapur and Cellist/Pianist Maksim Velichkin blend Baroque opera and free improvisation set to Clarise Lispector’s Agua Viva in a genre-defying performance experiment. The musical kaleidoscope created live in the performance draws from Lispector’s novel in its aims to articulate what’s most elusive: instinct and desire, the essence of “now’, the thought behind thought and the feeling behind feeling.
