Theodosia Roussos

Theodosia Roussos is an oboist, English horn player, soprano, composer, and improviser based in Los Angeles. This is her debut collaboration with Four Larks, playing oboe, English horn, singing, and acting. She is an avid performer/composer and has enjoyed collaborating with Beth Morrison Projects, The Industry, Bang on a Can All Stars, Los Angeles Philharmonic, among others. Last year she composed an original score alongside Devonte Hynes for the Netflix documentary-series Naomi Osaka, and several collaborations with film composer Emile Mosseri on The Last Black Man in San Francisco, and Kajillionaire. Theodosia looks forward to releasing another film score which she is currently working on (TBA), as well as premiering her full length opera Polymnia, which is an extension of her critically acclaimed song cycle of the same title. Theodosia has the honor of guest teaching a workshop at her alma-mater Oberlin Conservatory this spring, as well as continuing to guest lecture at her alma maters UCLA and USC. www.thetheodosia.com
